Library Shelving & Mantel

Working around an existing firebox in the family room of a home in Scarsdale, NY, this renovation included cabinetry, library shelving, and a mantel of solid cherry all featuring traditional details.  The mantle integrates beautifully with the surrounding cabinetry and wall paneling. The finished project includes a complete A/V system and state-of-the-art flat-panel TV and boasts such details as handcrafted raised panel doors, fluted columns, crown molding and an ebony marble fireplace surround.

One key component to the success of this project was the coordinated effort of the Hat Factory’s installation team along with the tile contractor responsible for the installation of the mantle’s marble hearth and surround.  On large projects, the Hat Factory crew works closely with all the trades involved to ensure the finished result exceeds expectations.
