We even have the ability to integrate your mantle with additional custom woodwork and cabinetry, adding more function and beauty to your living space.

Traditional Fireplace Mantel in Mahogany

This custom fireplace mantle embodies the traditional look of mahogany, but with a clean and contemporary feel. The natural clear finish, an alternative to the dark mahogany of old, enhances the ribbon-stripe grain of the wood, while the over-mantle paneling adds impact. Drawing on existing details within the home, this custom project transforms a ‘ho-hum’ fireplace into a dramatic room centerpiece.

Arts & Crafts Mantel in White Oak.

Showing off the patinaed bronzeoak fireplace mantel inlay and unusual asymmetrical design inspired by a lamp already owned by the clients, this detail photo of an Arts & Crafts-style mantle also highlights the figured quarter sawn white oak used for construction. By working closely with our network of specialized lumber suppliers, we are able to locate and select the finest materials available for each individual project.

Mantel Integration in Cherry

Constructed of traditionalcherry fireplace mantel and bookcases cherry wood, this elaborate family room mantle is integrated beautifully with the surrounding custom cabinetry. It houses a complete A/V system and state-of-the-art flat-panel TV and boasts such stunning details as handcrafted raised panel doors, fluted columns, crown molding and an ebony marble fireplace surround. This project highlights the skills of Hat Factory’s install team. Working around an existing fireplace, the team was charged with installing not just a mantle, but cabinetry, wall paneling, A/V wiring and components as well – all while coordinating the installation of a marble hearth and surround with a stone fabricator.
